Veridos Supports Modernization of Border Control in Sri Lanka
Veridos, a global leader in integrated identity solutions, has successfully delivered and commissioned four new electronic gates (eGates) equipped with advanced facial recognition technology at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo. Following a soft launch phase that began at the end of last year, the Automated Border Control (ABC) system was recently fully implemented and officially opened. This step marks an important milestone in the modernization of Sri Lanka’s border management infrastructure.
