Camila de Oliveira Appointed New Managing Director of HanseCom in Portugal
Hamburg, Germany, 30 September 2024 – HanseCom, the expert for digital sales in public transport, has appointed Camila de Oliveira as Managing Director of its Portuguese subsidiary (HC IB) in Lisbon. Together with the other members of the executive team, Rodrigo Machado and Sebastian Neil Hölken, she will keep working to strengthen the successful growth in the region.
In her role as the new Managing Director at HanseCom in Lisbon, de Oliveira will be responsible for Human Resources, Sales and Marketing starting October 1st. De Oliveira will continue her work to expand the Portuguese office and manage the subsidiary’s marketing and sales activities. HanseCom aims to provide transport companies throughout the Iberian Peninsula with modern software solutions to support the mobility transition.
De Oliveira, who studied advertising and is an expert in strategic communication, was one of the first hires following HanseCom’s decision to open a branch in Portugal. As Head of Operations, she was already responsible for HR, Marketing and Sales. In this position, she significantly contributed to the positive development of the regional office by hiring 17 employees by September 2023. Now, HC IB employs 25 people. Before joining HanseCom, de Oliveira worked for American and Portuguese companies in the IT sector. She also successfully ran her own company in the education industry.
