Red Hat kündigt Online-Forum „Open Your World“ an

Red Hat hat basierend auf den Open-Source-Prinzipien ein erfolgreiches Geschäftsmodell aufgebaut. Die gleichen Prinzipien - nämlich Mitwirkung und Transparenz - spielen auch bei Innovationen außerhalb der IT-Industrie eine immer größere Rolle, beispielsweise im Bildungssystem, in der öffentlichen Verwaltung sowie im Gesundheits- und Rechtswesen.

„Open Your World“ ist das erste einer Reihe von Online-Foren, die opensource.com veranstalten wird. Es wird Vorträge von Visionären aus verschiedenen Branchen beinhalten, beispielsweise von Dr. John Halamka, CIO der Harvard Medical School, Repräsentanten der Open Source for America, der Free Software Foundation Europe und der Wikimedia Foundation.
