Kubernetes-Operatoren vereinfachen die Anwendungsentwicklung für Kubernetes-Plattformen, indem sie Komplexitäten reduzieren und das Betriebswissen von Administratoren in Anwendungen kodieren; zudem lassen sich mit Kubernetes-Operatoren Services erstellen, die ohne menschliches Zutun funktionieren.

Diese Service-Automatisierung kann das Leben von Entwicklern und IT-Betriebsteams vereinfachen, sodass Kubernetes-Anwendungen wie Cloud-Services funktionieren, angefangen von der Selbstheilung und Selbst-Provisionierung bis hin zur einfacheren Verwaltung und Wartung im Produktionsmaßstab.
