Red Hat, der weltweit führende Anbieter von Open-Source-Lösungen, setzt mit dem ab heute verfügbaren Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 neue Maßstäbe für eine leistungsstarke Betriebssystemplattform. Den zahlreichen Partnern von Red Hat steht damit ein flexibles und skalierbares Enterprise Operating System zur Verfügung, auf dessen Basis innovative Lösungen für unterschiedliche Branchen bereitgestellt werden können. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 bildet die solide Grundlage für die Open Hybrid Cloud und ermöglicht Partnern von Red Hat, ihre Lösungen einfacher und ohne größeren Änderungsaufwand in physischen, virtuellen oder Cloud-Umgebungen einzusetzen.

Unternehmen legen heute Wert auf zertifizierte Software, Hardware und Services, um die Zukunftssicherheit ihrer IT-Infrastruktur zu gewährleisten. Seit mehr als einem Jahrzehnt hat Red Hat Tausenden von Ecosystem-Partnern ermöglicht, ihre Lösungen in Kombination mit Red Hat Enterprise Linux zu entwickeln, zu testen und zu zertifizieren. In Fortsetzung der langjährigen Tradition des Partner-Engagements hat Red Hat im Dezember 2013 das Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Partner Early Access Program gestartet. Mehr als 1.000 Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) haben im Rahmen des Programms ihre Lösungen im Hinblick auf eine Kompatibilität mit der nächsten Generation von Red Hats Betriebssystemplattform entwickelt. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Red Hat haben diese Partner ein umfangreiches Portfolio einsatzbereiter Business-Lösungen konzipiert, die alle für Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, dem Betriebssystem der Open Hybrid Cloud, zertifiziert sind. Ab sofort ist es auch möglich, weitere Zertifizierungen für Third-Party-Lösungen auf Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 zu erwerben.

Mit der Bereitstellung von Lösungen auf einer offenen, skalierbaren und innovativen Plattform können Technologiepartner von Red Hat mehr erreichen als eine reine Neudefinition des Enterprise Operating System: sie können die gesamte Enterprise-IT neu definieren.
