Angola has officially inaugurated its new, high-technology cash center “Casa do Kwanza” in the capital Luanda. Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) designed, supplied and managed the implementation of the central infrastructure project for the southwestern African country’s nationwide cash supply. In the cash center, Banco Nacional de Angola will be able to process up to four million banknotes of the national currency, the Kwanza, which will be available daily for reissuance into the cash cycle.
